FY GARDEN

Birkenhead’s best beer garden transforms into Future Now’s 700 capacity outdoor stage. Already familiar to the indoor Future Yard stage, Nubiyan Twist and She Drew The Gun make their way outside at FY for the very first time, with Nubiyan Twist headlining the FY Garden on Saturday and Birkenhead’s-own She Drew The Gun headlining on Sunday. The Lovely Eggs, Man / Woman / Chainsaw, Van Houten, Alright (Okay), Mel Bowen & The Original Series, Spielmann, Danelia all also perform on Saturday and Genn, Projector, Paint Me In Colour, Pink Footage, Blck Utah, Drew Friel and Samya O’Grady on Sunday.

Although attached to the Future Yard venue + live room, the Garden has a separate, clearly marked outdoor entrance directly next to the main Future Yard entrance at 75 Argyle Street, and there will be no direct access between the indoor Future Yard area and the Garden stage. The Garden will operate a one-way system, with exit at the back of the venue on Alma/Henry Street via the venue loading bay.

There is a set of bleachers to sit on next to the stage, as well as a number of tables and chairs throughout the space.

The Garden is the only place at Future Now where you can get food – our FY pizza kitchen will be open until 9pm both day, and Magic and Sparkle will be on hand with a food truck serving hot vegetarian food and ice cream. This truck will be situated directly outside the Garden exit in the venue loading bay. There will be a designated area with tables and chairs to eat here, and you are able to go back into the garden as long as you do not leave this clearly marked area. All food served at Future Now is vegetarian or vegan.
